Community Development Program (CDP)

Community Development Program (CDP) provides support, relief and developmental work to improve the socio-economic condition of the marginalized, uneducated and those who live in poverty. The activities include short term relief aid during natural calamities or disasters, doing medical camps, facilitating basic infrastructure for providing healthy and better living condition for the poor and the marginalized, helping find a source for sustainable income for laborers who have sustained injury and cannot get back to the same work they had been doing.

FICF through its Community Development Project (CDP) tries to provide support to the following:

• Socially and economically downtrodden
• Marginalized by the society
• People with minimal or no educational qualification, daily laborers
• No proper living facilities or basic infrastructure such as electricity, pure drinking water, sanitation, shelter, and healthy and safe living condition
• FICF visits such places and provides people with essentials such as nutritious food, water, clothes, medical aid and other basic essentials as well as to find a sustainable solution.
